Journal History

The International Journal of Accounting and Management Information Systems (IJAMIS) was first published in 2023 as an international, peer-reviewed scholarly journal focusing on the intersection of accounting, management, and information technology. The journal was established to address the growing need for academic research that explains how information systems shape accounting practices and managerial decision-making in digital environments.

Since its establishment, IJAMIS has adopted a biannual publication schedule, consistently releasing two regular issues per year in February and August. The journal is published exclusively in an online format and uses English as the language of publication to ensure international accessibility and global academic engagement.

IJAMIS publishes research articles and review articles that examine accounting information systems, management information systems, digital accounting, enterprise systems, data analytics, and information technology integration. All submitted manuscripts are evaluated through a double-blind peer-review process, involving at least two independent reviewers, with editorial decisions based on academic quality, originality, methodological rigor, and practical relevance.

Published by Goodwood Publishing, IJAMIS continues to strengthen its editorial governance and peer-review standards in line with internationally recognized scholarly publishing practices. Since its first issue, the journal has maintained a stable publication frequency, a structured review system, and a clear disciplinary focus, supporting its long-term development and academic credibility in the field of accounting and management information systems.
