Journal History
Annals of Animal Studies (AAS) was first published in 2025 as an international scholarly journal dedicated to advancing research and scientific knowledge in the field of animal science. Since its establishment, the journal has aimed to provide a reputable academic forum for disseminating high-quality research related to animal biology, production systems, health, welfare, biodiversity, and sustainable management of animal resources.
Published online by Goodwood Publishing, AAS adopts a biannual publication schedule, releasing two issues each year in February and August. The journal publishes all articles in English to ensure wide international accessibility and to facilitate global scholarly communication among researchers, academicians, practitioners, and professionals in animal science and related disciplines.
To maintain academic integrity and publication excellence, every manuscript submitted to AAS undergoes a rigorous double-blind peer-review process, involving at least two independent reviewers. Editorial decisions are based on clear scholarly criteria, including academic quality, originality, methodological rigor, and practical relevance. Through this process, Annals of Animal Studies is committed to publishing research that contributes meaningfully to scientific advancement and supports sustainable animal management at local, national, and global levels.
