The influence of service quality and customer satisfaction on use loyalty BRI Mobile Banking

Purpose: This study investigates the effect of service quality and customer satisfaction on user loyalty in BRI Mobile Banking. Research/methodology: A quantitative method was applied with a population of BRI Mobile Banking users in Palopo City. A total of 121 respondents were selected using the rule of thumb approach. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using SPSS 26, including validity, reliability, regression, t-test, F-test, and determination coefficient. Results: The findings show that both service quality and customer satisfaction significantly and positively affect user loyalty. Regression results indicate that improvements in service quality increase loyalty by 0.463, while customer satisfaction contributes 0.369. The model explains 60.1% of loyalty variation, with both variables jointly exerting a significant influence (F = 91.535, p < 0.05. Conclusions: Service quality and customer satisfaction are key determinants of user loyalty. Easy application use, reliable system performance, and positive user experience foster satisfaction, trust, and long-term commitment to BRI Mobile Banking. Limitations: The study focuses only on two variables, excluding other possible factors such as trust, perceived value, or security aspects that may influence loyalty. Contribution: This research offers practical guidance for banking institutions to strengthen loyalty by enhancing service quality and customer satisfaction. It also contributes to the literature on digital banking and customer relationship management in the context of mobile financial services.

The influence of motivation, commitment and workload on job satisfaction of regional officials with competency as intervening variable in Regional Financial Agency of Riau Islands Province

Purpose: This study analyzes the influence of motivation, organizational commitment, and workload on the job satisfaction of regional officials, with competence as an intervening variable at the Regional Financial and Asset Agency of Riau Islands Province. In 2023, delays occurred in 11,380 files (49.26%) from SPP to SP2D, indicating the urgency to improve employee satisfaction and performance. Research/methodology: Primary data were collected from 143 employees and analyzed using SEM-PLS. Motivation, commitment, and workload were examined as predictors of competence, while competence was tested as a mediator toward job satisfaction. Results: Motivation showed no significant direct effect on job satisfaction. However, motivation, organizational commitment, and workload significantly influenced competence, which in turn strongly mediated their impact on job satisfaction. The findings confirm that higher competence enhances employees’ satisfaction and performance, emphasizing the importance of competence development to minimize delays and strengthen service quality. Conclusions: Job satisfaction is not directly determined by motivation but is mediated by competence, organizational commitment, and workload. Competence development becomes a strategic factor in improving overall satisfaction and organizational performance. Limitations: The study was limited to one institution in Riau Islands Province, thus reducing generalizability. Comparative studies across multiple agencies and provinces are recommended. Contribution: This study enriches HRM literature by confirming the mediating role of competence in public sector organizations. Practically, it guides policymakers to improve satisfaction and performance through competency development, balanced workload distribution, and organizational commitment programs.

The influence of work team and work environment on the character of loyalty to the organization (Study at the Hikmah Masamba General Hospital)

Purpose: This study aimed to determine the influence of work teams and work environments on the character of loyalty to the organization, focusing on employees of Hikmah Masamba General Hospital. Research Methodology: The research employed a descriptive quantitative approach with a total population of 50 employees, consisting of 26 from HR nursing services and 24 from HR midwifery services. Using a saturated sampling technique, all members of the population were included as the respondents. Data were analyzed using SPSS 26, enabling partial and simultaneous testing of the relationships between variables. Results: The findings show that both the work team and work environment exert a significant influence, individually and collectively, on the development of organizational loyalty among employees. This indicates that supportive teamwork and a conducive work environment are essential factors for strengthening loyalty within healthcare institutions. Conclusions: The study concludes that employee loyalty is significantly shaped by the quality of teamwork and the conditions of the work environment. Improving these two factors can enhance organizational commitment and sustainability in the management of hospitals. Limitations: The main limitation of this study is that data were collected from only one institution, limiting the generalizability of the findings to broader contexts. Contribution: This study is expected to serve as a reference for future research exploring loyalty characteristics in healthcare and other organizational contexts.
