Policy Overview

Authors are not allowed to withdraw submitted or published manuscripts unless there are compelling reasons. Withdrawal wastes valuable resources — editors and reviewers invest significant time processing manuscripts, as does the publisher.

Withdrawal Process

01
Submit a Withdrawal Request If the author still requests withdrawal, they will be asked to submit an Article Withdrawal Form signed by all authors — or the corresponding author — stating the reasons for withdrawal.
02
Await Official Confirmation Authors must not assume their manuscript has been withdrawn until they have received appropriate notification from the editorial office.
03
Contact the Editorial Office To obtain the Article Withdrawal Form, please contact us at admin@goodwoodpub.com.

Ethical Obligation

Unethical

It is considered a serious breach of publication ethics to withdraw a submitted or published manuscript from one journal after it has been accepted by another journal.

Simultaneous submission or duplicate publication undermines the integrity of the scientific record and is strictly prohibited.

Authors found in breach of this policy may face consequences including retraction, notification to their institution, and a ban on future submissions.
